Why can't the printfix pro produce spot on consistent readings if its using LED which are touted as stable? The tiny variations you are seeing are to be expected with any device. Comparative specifications (comparison of each manufacturer's published specs) show the PFP Spectro to be as accurate as the EyeOne Spectro, and ten times as consistant, partly due to the repeatability of LED devices, and partly due to the fact that the PFP spectro is a dual channel device (it has both a reference channel and a measurement channel, like a SpectroLino, while the EyeOne has only a measurement channel). Even more amazing is that the PFP device ranks as 20 times as consistant as the X-Rite Pulse. C. David Tobie Product Technology Manager ColorVision, Inc.
