2006-03-05 by Luca Cafiero

I had the same problem the first time I've used PrintFix Pro.I closed the application once or twice re-trying every time and then all has been ok.Now all does work fine.

    In a message dated 3/5/06 2:04:55 PM, alexgold77@hotmail.com writes:

I was going through the process of creating a profile, but at the
Spectro Calibration – White Calibration I've got the message: "The
Spectro doesn't appear to be on the white calibration tile; are you
sure that you want to continue?"
The Spectro is positioned over the white tile at the time.
I've tried to go through Edit – Preferences menu, Tools -> Calibrate
process. Black Calibrate seems to work just fine, but for the White
Calibrate I'm getting the same error message.
      Any ideas?

We've made adjustments to the software to reduce the likelyhood of this issue, but in the first release version it still occurs under certain circumstances. All you need to do is ignore it, make sure its really on the white tile, and continue. Everything will be fine. Its just a matter of your current white reading not being in tight tolerances to your previous one. As long as the current one is correct, this doesn't really matter; so be sure your white tile is clean, your spectro is tight on it, and continue. If you measure something other than the white tile (the black tile, for instance) then this message is guarnateed to occur on your next callibration process.
