There are a few detailt that might be causing your difficulty working with the application-flow. One is, that unless the spectro is attached and successfully communicating, reading taragets is not an available option, only building from existing measurements. Another is that you must select the correct target in the target choice window in order to read that target in the following patch reading window (otherwise, you will get the wrong template to measure into). A third is that a measurement set you made earlier is not active later, you must choose it from the existing measurements list. Or you may have come up with some other issue not directly related to PrintFIX PRO's flow, such as the spectro losing communication with the application during the interum, and thus not offering patch reading when you move to that page; I haven't heard of that happening, but it seems possible. If your spectro isn't communicating quitting and restarting the app will work, but so should going to Prefs, choosing "none" as your device, rechoosing the spectro, and then calibrating from the tools menu.
