I just purchased Print Fix Pro and am trying to use the
Spectrocolorimeter on the test target but when I push down the top of
the unit on the paper nothing happens. I tried two USB ports and they
there is a sound when I plug it in and and take it out but there is not
a reading. Is there supposed to be a light on in the unit when you push
down the top? I could not find any help on what to do if you don't get
a reading. Does anyone have any ideas?

Be sure you are using a fully powered port, troubleshoot this by plugging directly to the back of the computer. Keyboard ports and some computer front ports are not fully powered, and may not work with devices requiring a fair amount of current.

If it still doesn't work from a back port, send your specs (OS and version, computer info, PFP version, etc) to DaveM@... for more detailed troubleshooting.
