Does anyone here make custom profiles with Print Fix Pro, using large
targets?
I've been having really good success printing on rolls of heavy habotai
silk (http://www.joaniesanchirico.com/paint.html
if you want to look) using an enhanced matte paper setting and
without a print profile on an Epson 7800. I can send more details about the
other print settings if necessary. I'm on a PC.
Now I want to print on cotton and the colors are coming out dull. I'm
probably spoiled by the richness of the color on the silk. I know there are many
small sheets of cotton out there specifically for ink-jet fabrics, but
I print on rolls because my fine art pieces are quite large. I've been getting
my fabric from Jacquard http://www.inkjetfabrics.com/ which
doesn't sell ICC profiles, most of their customers use dye printers and
RIP's.
So, does anyone here might already have ICC print profiles for
cotton? I'd also be interested in purchasing profiles for silk, both Dupioni and
Habotai. Again, I'm on a PC printing on an Epson 7800.
