Re: [colorvision_group] Using Qimage

2008-01-17 by Myron Gochnauer

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I use Qimage sometimes, but most of
my PFP profiles were created on my Mac, and I haven't gotten around to
doing them again with the 2200 Windows driver. I have not tested
this, but I have assumed that color profiles are driver specific so
that the Windows driver and the Mac driver would need different
profiles for the same printer. ...anyone tested?

Anyway, if you're using Windows exclusively, Qimage should work
perfectly with PFP. It allows you to use whatever profiles you like,
and doesn't muck about with the color. It is simply what Photoshop's
print functions should be.
