well i'm not sure about the industrial design either. it looks like a tape measure.

Thats most people's first response; a large, clunky tape measure. And the method of hanging it on the screen, on edge, inside a bag, doesn't impress people either. The limit of printing only 50 patches per sheet, and having to wait for that sheet to dry down, then read it, print a second sheet from the results, and wait for that one to dry down too, before reading again, is a workflow that cancels out any convenience or speed that the strip reading functionality offers.

as for product comparison, it was the CV Print Fix system that got amazing reviews when compared to the seriously more expensive i1 (one of the reasons i got it).

Yes, its an odd mix that our products compete more in the EyeOne feature and quality range, but at the ColorMunki pricepoint. I don't think that will be lost on potential purchasers; though I'm sure there will be a few that like the sounds of "fast, easy, wonderful..." and don't bother with the comparison shopping to find that there are more advanced features and results available in the same price range. When the Huey came out, the advertising sold more Spyders for us. So I have to assume that the big push with the ColorMunki may do the same thing... and sell more Studios for us.
