dumb question; renaming profiles....

2008-04-21 by elvissivle77

Hello,
I've succefully built profiles using spyder3print. My prints look closer to the unproofed file in
CS3, but that's another topic entirely. Anyways, I'd like to change how the name of the profile
appears in CS3 printer dialogue box, so that there's consistent profile labeling from printer to
printer in the lab ( I know, I should have thought of this earlier). I've tried renaming the actual
.icc file, but it maintains the original name regardless. I would just build another profile from
the measurements, but i've adjusted the profile via sliders to an extent and do not remember
exactly what was adjusted and to what extent (brightness, color, saturation etc...) If it comes
down to it I will re-print and re-adjust some test prints in order to create a profile with
another name, but I was wondering if there was an easier way. Hope this all makes sense.
Thanks.

BTW...anyone else profiling epson premium luster 260 on epson printers notice that the
"260" media setting is inferior to the "250" or is it just me?
