Please try it out, and let us know what you think. There's no reason for everyone NOT to immediately get the 3.5PB software and start using it. Don't worry about the "beta" in the name. It's fully functional and, we believe, as solid as any release (if not more so, since small, lingering issues from previous releases are always cleaned up with newer versions). It's not a "real" release yet, because 10 languages-worth of Help files need to be updated, and because this also gives us a little more time to listen to feedback. Does everyone like being able to measure more quickly? Can we have a show of hands? (But remember: taking measurements isn't a race. Practice a little, and find the right balance between going faster, and not letting any bad measurements leak in. Switch the Target window from "Split" to "Measured" so you can see each measured patch as a full square of the measured color; this will make it visually obvious if you make a mistake). Highly recommended: use Return/Enter on the keyboard to take measurements. It was always faster to use the spectro this way, but with the 3.5PB software, you'll notice even more of a difference. :-) David Miller Senior Software Developer, Digital Color Solutions Datacolor
