No algorithmic changes, no need to rebuild profiles... but any profiles you rebuild will go faster this time!
The real advantages are the composite targets, so you don't have to correctly match gray and color measurement sets, the easy workflow (but thats mostly for beginners who might be overwhelmed by the number of options otherwise), and a smoother workflow in a few places... plus of course the faster reading speed. Even experts will find the easy workflow useful; so don't assume its just for beginners, give it a spin next time you build a profile.
