OK, did that (the only thing I hadn't done is turn off black point
compensation). Result: same shift.

I even tried to use PS Elements 6 and Lemke Graphic Converter. Same
result all around. Epson profile is fine, Colorvision is poor.

Yet CS2 works, with one version of OSX older - 10.5.3 vs. 10.5.4. 

And for the record I am using the right paper type, color management
off and advanced (print quality, high speed, etc.) in the Epson driver.

I will redo making the profile this morning to see if there was an
error making it but I did two, one 8 bit, one 16 bit with the same
unfortunate results.

I am wondering if this is an issue with 10.5.4 and CS3.
