Spectro gone bonkers or Tiger to Leopard issues?

2008-09-17 by robert49brake

Hadn't used my PFP spectro in some months. When I plugged it in was getting bizarre
readings: lime green for mid-grays, Lab readings that are impossible for what should be
black (L=67.27, a=-167.66 b=115.99 D=.43 when it should be reading over 2.0).

Calibration tile is still normal? L=89.76, a=-.77, b=-1.43, D=.12

Anyway I had changed from a G4 Tiger to a Dual Core Leopard since the last usage and had
transferred most of my software through Migration Assistant.

I trashed the original PFP 2.0 which had been upgraded to SpiderPrint 3.0 and loaded a fresh
version of SpiderPrint 3.0.1. Still getting the same bizarre lime green or orange readings on
a 21 step grayscale with Ds only a fraction of what they should be

Burnt out LED in the spectro, wierd Leopard stuff, Jumbies? Inquiring minds want to know
and want to get back to work.
