Datacolor User to User Support Group.

I have a Vista 64 system with an HP  LP2065 monitor, Qimage, and use 
Spyder Elite 3 and Epson 2200 to print.  Still have a slight red shift 
in my prints.  should I disable the Nvidia card (9500) startup routines 
(2 of them) in msconfig?
Oh , and can anyone help me understand why the Spyder folks urge us to 
calibrate our monitors using such high luminance (175-200) levels?  
This proctice would yield dark prints, no?
