I am a little
confused. Are you basically saying that I should check "ambient light" on
a CRT? I believe I tried it and it could not calebrate it
correctly

Perhaps the opposite; LCDs are capable of a wide range of luminances, so they are in need of white luminance control; and ambient light control.

With a CRT I was under the impression that ambient light is more relevant with an LCD monitor, so I was advised to uncheck it----- Original Message -----From: cdtobieSent: Wednesday, December 10, 2008 12:33 PMSubject: Re: [colorvision_group] Online Videos (ATT: C.D. Perhaps I'm better off upgrading to a new version of spyder pro. What's out there now that's compatible with cs4 and windows XP pro based?Hmmm.. in your last note you said you owned Spyder3Elite, not Pro. At any rate Spyder3 is the latest and greatest; and compatible with CS4 and XP Pro.--C.
