Are the DACs in the video cards out there pretty much the same?  The
other day I had wondered if there were commercial cards out there
which could run 16 bits per channel instead of 8.  That might be below
the level of perception though.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
