You can't, for instance, quit Photoshop by clicking on > such a button. Of course you can. If there are unsaved changes, you receive a challenge. In any case, in the current version of Snyder 3 Pro, you can evidently shut down the application anytime the close button appears (I have not, in 3.0.7, seen any cases where is it grayed out - maybe there are some). Of course, when actual measurements are being taken, the Close button does not appear. Best regards, Doug
