Hardly so. Almost every application I have can be shut down with that (subject, of course, to a challenge if there are unsaved changes, if that is meaningful to the application).

Of course you can. If there are unsaved changes, you receive a challenge.

In any case, in the current version of Snyder 3 Pro, you can evidently shut down the application anytime the close button appears (I have not, in 3.0.7, seen any cases where is it grayed out - maybe there are some). Of course, when actual measurements are being taken, the Close button does not appear.
