Hi, David, I begin by assuming that Syder3Elite has a "colorimeter screen" feature akin to that of OptiCAL, and this question is predicated on that. (Here we so far only have Spyder3Pro, thus the need to conjecture.) When we tell the colorimeter screen to put up, for example, a color of 128, 128, 128, is that RGB triple fed to the video card as is, or is it first remapped by the profile for the display? In other words, if we are using this tool to see how our system behaves, are we seeing the calibrated display without benefit of its profile, or are we seeing the calibrated system with benefit of its profile? Thanks. Best regards, Doug
