Re: Spyder coloromiter giving inconsistant readings.

2010-03-10 by Phiegze

How about fluorescent blue cookoo egg in a field of brown grass?
That kind of wild.
And and when I said inconsistent I meant really inconsistent, that kind of inconsistent. It could read a rows of blue green as yellow brown and then toss in a few wild cards and then give believable results for a row or so.

I'm not sure I saved a measurement file and I am certainly not going to read 729 plus grays to prove what a blind person can see.

Can I just send one page?
That is assuming it is still acting up.
As per normal, I'd rather have it consistently fail than intermittently. There is no point in going to the trouble of profiling if I can't trust the results.

I'm getting ready for a show and I really can't afford to upgrade now and so far I haven't wanted to switch brands.

One thing I would like to know is if SOFTWARE can cause such radial errors; that's fixable.

The other thing I'd like to know before submitting a ticket is whether these units can be rebuilt at a reasonable cost.

Thanks in advance for your replies.....
