Target Measurements Spyder3Print vs. SpyderPRINT

2012-04-21 by edknightphoto

I'm usng Win XP SP# and have just upgraded from Spyder3Print to SpyderPRINT (4.0) because my Spectro wasn't recognized. It fixed the Spectro problem, but I'm having issues with my target measurement files. Questions...

1. I printed targets under Spyder3, upgraded to the prog to fix the spectro issue, and have now read the targets with SpyderPRINT. Are the targets printed under the 2 program versions the same or do I need to reprint?

2. I've moved an older target measurement xml file from Spyder3's Data/Print folder to the Data/Print in SpyderPRINT. But, SpyderPRINT doesn't see them for profile building, it only sees a) those you pre-loaded (e.g. EpsonR4800EnhMatte Colors.xml) and b) those I just created with SpyderPRINT. Are measurement files created by the 2 program versions compatible or do I need to reread the old target prints?

3. Finally, where do the xml files created under SpyderPRINT reside? I can't find them on my boot drive.

Thanks.
