With respect, that's wildly exaggerated FUD.
I've profiled a great many Windows machines without any 3rd party utilities without issues. All it takes is proper configuration.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
