Colorvision and Windows XP x64 - Part 2

Colorvision and Windows XP x64 - Part 2

2006-06-26 by Johnny Kurtz

Mr. Tobie,

I downloaded the software that would come with the Spyder2 Suite and
am able to run it on Windows XP x64; is it the device driver for the
Spyder2 Colorimeter that will not work?

If there is a x64 driver in the works, is there a beta version I could
use; what is the timeline for the release of this driver, soon is a
hard answer to work with when making these system choices.

I would like to know this before I purchase your system.

Regards,
John

Yes, the software runs fine, its 64 bit drivers that are required.

Yes, there is a beta, contact me privately if you wish to test it. But
that will require that you already own a Spyder2 product.

Then you will need to wait a bit longer for the release of the 64 bit
drivers; there is no way to test them in advance, if you don't have the
hardware to test with.

Mr. Tobie,

I have sent an email to you, but do not know if it was sent to the
proper email address.

You may contact me at johnny@..., so we can continue the
x64 driver conversation.
