Terrific Customer Service

Terrific Customer Service

2006-07-10 by Robert Ausura

I just want to let the group know that over the past week or so I've
been reminded of what world-class customer support is.

I've been having technical problems with PFP for about two weeks.
Half a dozen emails and phone calls to/from Colorvision tech support
failed to resolve the situation, even when the company sent me a
replacement spectro. But the Colorvision/Datacolor folks were no
more willing to give up than I was. Last Friday afternoon, I
received calls from two of their Big Technical Guns, who led me
through a series of diagnostics. Within an hour, we identified the
problem, and Saturday morning I received an overnight delivery of a
new spectro.

My PFP is back on line, and I'm back in business.

Not many companies I deal with display this kind of persistence in
resolving thorny customer issues, especially when the customer is a
one-man operation. Like I said -- world class.

Robert's report of excellent customer service is a heartwarming thing to
read. Congratulations Colorvision tech support! This is the sort of thing
which builds customer loyalty and which is all too rare in computer-related
things. I haven't had problems with my Spectro, but I've also been very
impressed with the support available for the much smaller problems I have
had with PFP - and let me say that those problems were entirely due to my
own carelessness, but they were nevertheless resolved quickly and politely
by Colorvision personnell.
