PFP 2.0 - same color patches as in V1.1.1???

2006-11-29 by ed_limmy

Hi dave and david,
Are the color patches in V2.0 identical to V1.1.1 (apart from the new
150 patch for the printable CD/DVD)?

My current understanding is that while the algorithm has
changed/improved the patches are still identical with V1.1.1.

Yes, that's correct (as far as the color targets go).

(and of course, the Extended Grays target will be new for 2.0 and wasn't
present in 1.1.1).

Best regards,

Targets have been changed a bit for convenience, but the patch number, color, and order is identical for 150, 225, and 729 patch targets. The Extended Grays is totally new (at 238 patches), while the TIFF format CD/DVD targets are the same exact 150 patches, reformulated to fit onto donuts.

Yes, thats correct, though as I noted, the size it prints, and the stuff around the edges may change.
