Datacolor User to User Support Group.

Hello folks!

New here and I just spent the last two days testing out my Printfix
Pro suite (v.2.0). I'm testing it on a Canon Pro 9000.

I've stumbled upon a problem which some of you must have a solution
for: I'm trying to figure out how one can just load a profile and then
readjust any settings in the "Build Profile" screen w/o having to
start from the beginning. Since the profile has already been built, I
really don't want to re-sample all 729 color patches again. I'd rather
just be able to hit the "Next" buttons to get to the Build page and
re-adjust any settings. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to do
this.

But: that's exactly how it works..!

When you build a profile, it's always from the measurement set that you've
created. The sliders just "flavor" the profile when you're building it.
Once you measure the 729 patches, you don't have to measure them again.

(The measurements you create with the spectro are NOT the profile. The profile
what you build from the measurements. You can build as many profiles as you
like from the same set of measurements, as different variations, depending
on how you have the sliders set; just name the profiles differently so you
can tell them apart from each other).

Thank you David for participating on this forum! While I love PrintFix Pro
and the Spyder calibration system, both the help files and "instructions" on
using the programs leave a lot to be desired. I can tell you are engineers,
not English majors. Fortunately for me, I've got time.....
