Excellent! I just wanted add that using Excel or a spread sheet program is not critical and the format is not too strict. A word or text program is fine. In a recent exchange with Roy Harrington he suggested a tab-delimited file is all that is needed with a "LAB" heading to tell the QTR-Create-ICC DropScript it's working with a LAB file. Here's Roy's reply regarding : "any spacing if OK. You can use spaces and/or tabs. I think L* is ok, too. It tries lots of heading names: L L* LAB LAB_L A LAB_A" The PrintFIX PRO beta can export LAB data via the Tools menu and writes a tab-delimited file with no headings...like this: 94.33 0.70 -2.93 90.50 0.82 -2.64 86.33 0.87 -2.32 82.04 0.83 -2.00 ... All that is needed is to add a heading like this manually: L A B 94.33 0.70 -2.93 90.50 0.82 -2.64 86.33 0.87 -2.32 82.04 0.83 -2.00 ... Or like this: L A B 94.33 0.70 -2.93 90.50 0.82 -2.64 86.33 0.87 -2.32 82.04 0.83 -2.00 ... After the heading is added and file saved drag the text file to the QTR-Create-ICC icon to build a .ICC profile for soft-proofing and printing.

One of the reasons I happened to use Excel was that it was easy to cut and paste blocks of numbers -- and I also used the chart function to have a look at the data. > The PrintFIX PRO beta can export LAB data via the Tools menu and writes a tab-delimited > file with no headings...like this: I'll mention any changes when the shipping software is next updated Keith
