Datacolor User to User Support Group.

I just checked the delivery status on my PrintFix Pro Suite order,
which is supposed to be drop-shipped from Colorvision. The reseller,
which had been quoting "week of March 13" as the predicted ship date,
changed it today to "week of March 20". One ebay seller claims to have
15 of them, but when I asked him to confirm he admitted that they were
"due to be delivered from the manufacturer sometime next week". Sigh.

It's worth the wait :-)  Thats the problem with items that actually
work well.  Once people realize its a winner they are hard to get!

Well that eBay seller got a shipment of the PFP suites in faster than
he'd estimated, so I canceled my backorder and bought one from the
eBay guy. It arrived today, so now I have some work to do...

After the upgrade deal for Printfix owners was postponed for the third
time I decided to buy one for $400 off eBay. Knowing my luck that is a
guarantee that Colorvision will announce the upgrade deal tomorrow,
and it will be $10 plus your old Printfix.

I suppose that you would then need buy the upgrade and turn around and
sell it on eBay for $410 "new in box" :-)

FWIW, I was able to get the Suite off eBay for $530, including shipping.
