Doing a full Re-Calibration

Doing a full Re-Calibration

2009-05-02 by Rebel PPC

(Equipment: Spyder3 Elite)

I know that I am suppose to reset my monitor to factory defaults before each
re-calibration but am I also suppose to also "Unload" (if that is a proper
term) my prior profile that was loaded into my graphics card before doing
the re-calibration?

If the answer is yes, then is there a way to "unload" it without having to
reboot since rebooting makes the Spyder3 Elite utility program complain
about waiting 30 minutes for the monitor to warm up even though the monitor
has already been on for hours and it was only a reboot?

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Neither is necessary. The software unloads the calibration LUTs
automatically, and the presets from your last calibration ( if you
were satisfied with your previous calibration) are fine for this trip
through as well.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
