Thats the purpose of ColorEyes: to offer maximal features. It may not
be as quick or convenient to use, but it has specialty features above
and beyond what standard display calibration software offers. Many
users don't use all the features in Spyder3Elite, so may not have a
lot of need of even more tools, but there are a few things in
ColorEyes that are tempting to a wide range of users. But its most
compelling when used with top end ($$$) graphics displays with
internal LUT tables and high bit internal functioning, which ColorEyes
accesses.
It works two ways: if you already have a Spyder3, you can purchase
ColorEyes software to run with it. Or, if you don't, and you are sure
ColorEyes is the package for you, then you can purchase the ColorEyes/
Spyder3 bundle from Integrated Color.
