Spyder3Elite v3.0.7 to v3.2.1 Update

Spyder3Elite v3.0.7 to v3.2.1 Update

2009-09-08 by Rebel PPC

It has just come to my attention that my Spyder3Elite software v3.0.7 is out
of date and that v3.2.1 is now available. After going through two
horrifying update failures with Adobe, I am a little hesitant about updates
with anyone if everything is already running fine. So the question is, do I
really need v3.2.1 over v3.0.7 if everything seems to be working fine.

BTW, the Adobe fiasco was a result of their incredible need to load up their
software with so many hurdles and traps to thwart piracy that honest paying
customers sometimes find that they are no longer activated after an update
and the only way (according to Adobe of India) to get rid of the troubled
code their (Adobe) product screwed up in the registry is to format and
reinstall the whole frigging OS and Adobe, then do the updates before
activating. If this is what I have to go through being a paying customer or
Adobe, I sure would hate to think what the pirates are going through. Oh, I
forget, the pirates don't have to go through this..

Thanks for letting me vent!

Regards,

Thomas

I linked in after seeing this via my software update. It says 3.1.7 is available, I am running 3.07, it shows 3.1.7 is available. When I go to the download page all I see is 3.1.2, but when you download it indicates 3.2.1?

What am I doing wrong?

Ah, but when you install it, you find out that it is 3.1.2 after all. Then, if you check Help>Updates, you will find that your are running 3.1.2, and the latest available is 3.1.

I think the problem is not at your end!

Best regards,

THanks, I have delayed the install.
