Datacolor?

Datacolor?

2011-01-29 by Keith

What has happened to DataColor? I have read in other forums that they might have gone out of business. No activity on this forum for over a month now. Whats up?

Datacolor is alive and well but as far as yahoo forums go, they pretty much opened their own forums on their website rather than reach out here.

I've been surprised at the lack of "traffic" here too. But Datacolor's website is alive and well with latest news dated January 7. So hopefully all's well.

Hmmm... not sure, my old shortcut doesn't work. Yet the website is still up and I can download software. Perhaps they closed the forums? I am now as confused as when I wake up with two anvils over my head and Bugs Bunny going, "What's up Doc?"

Datacolor is indeed alive and well, with new products, continuing development, and a new website (though much of the same content on it). I am unaware of any Datacolor sponsored forums, though there is tech support there. This forum is not controlled by Datacolor; our participation here is mostly in the form of answers; if users don't post questions, then you won't hear much from us here.

Meeting customer demand for our new SpyderCheckr and SpyderLensCal products had been our recent focus; I expect there will be a bit more activity on this forum once more people receive these products, and have questions or comments about them.

Thanks for replying CD, I knew your company was alive and well but I also thought you had your own forum. Either way, if you have a forum please post the location, if not, well then just keep doing what you do. Thanks.

Yes, thanks for replying! Great to know that you're still alive and kicking. As I stated, OTHER forums(or should I say comments from people reading other forums) mentioned that since there was no activity on this site that there was a concern that DataColor was no longer. I wanted to make sure so I came here and asked the question directly. I knew that if I got a response from Mr. Tobie or Mr. Miller, all would be well. I guess no activity(here) means that there is nothing but happy DataColor customers and products are perfoming as they should and no ??? need be answered 8^). Keep up the good work!
