ATI Catalyst software and Spyder3Utility

ATI Catalyst software and Spyder3Utility

2012-06-20 by Richard Bordelon

I updated the driver on my ATI Radeon 4800 series video card. The update
installed ATI Catalyst software on my Win 7 64bit PC. The profiles
generated by the Spyder3Elite 4.0.2 now does not appear to load.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing to do is turn off, ideally uninstall, everything that the installer put in there except the driver itself. Video card software developers often get so excited about being able to juggle and do tricks, that they forget that some of us have very specific needs of our video card LUTs.

Thank you. I unstalled all but the driver and all is well.
