Coming back to Spyder Print, I've forgotten -

I've been away from Spyder Print 3 for quite a few months. Today I made my first try at a printer profile using SpyderPRINT version 4.2.3 library veriosn 185. Monitor is calibrated recently using Spyder3 Pro version 3.0.1.
Target was printed on Epson Premium Photo Paper Luster, using the new EZ High Quality 225 patch target. The printer was an Epson Artisan 1430. The correct paper was selected, and ICM was OFF (no color management).
A print from the unedited version of the resulting printer profile was far too contrasty, and far too "orange".
I don't think this is due to a bad Spectro, unless the Spectro has gotten out of adjustment somehow (it has been kept in bubble wrap along with the calibration tile - pretty well protected). My Spectro has made decent printer profiles in the past.
Using the Advanced Editing feature of SpyderPRINT, I moved the contrast way down to minus 8, and moved the brightness way up to plus 5, added some cyan and some blue. The next print was identical to the first - no change at all!
I think I've forgotten something about how to save the results of the Advanced Editing. Can someone walk me through that?
Thanks - Bill Hansen
