Re: [disklavier] Disklavier Radio Volume

2013-04-11 by Adrian Thomas

I suspect that the files played via Disklavier Radio have MIDI messages at the beginning of the song file. These probably include things like 'Bank Select', 'Program Change' and 'Volume' messages for each channel (or even SysEx messages). This would mean that the balance function on any control unit won't affect the settings until after the song has started.

If there is a particular song you like, it may be possible to buy (download) it. You would then need sequencing software to alter the initial MIDI settings.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
