I have my DC6A patched into a mixer board with the piano speakers turned down. I am able to control the ensemble volume ok. It is not as convenient as a foot pedal but it works! You would have to turn down or disable the internal speakers. Mark Wisner Piano Service Yamaha Corporation mwisner@... >>> dstyp@... 10/25/01 06:22AM >>> I have a Disklavier Grand Piano Mark III (Model DC1A with a DKC55RCD controller). Can a foot controller be added to allow adjustment of the volume of the ensemble voice when performing? I sometimes layer a voice while playing the piano and find it awkward to have to reach for the volume knob on the silent controller or, worse yet, try and adjust the volume with the push button controls on the DKC55RCD unit. The DKV owners manual references compatibility with the FC7 foot contoller which the Yamaha website describes as a volume controller, however, the DKV owners manual only describes using it for tempo control on playback. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Denis Stypulkoski dstyp@... To Post a message to the group, send it to: disklavier@...
