Hi Erstmal,

Thanks for the information. I now have the specs for the 2 pianos
and should be able to see the differences though I have not had time
to cross reference the items you described. The following link can
be used to find the specs on recent Disklaviers (not just the
current models), substituting the desired model number at the end of
the link:

  http://www.yamaha.com/cgi-win/webcgi.exe/DsplyModel/?gDKG00002DC3A

Apparently the larger 16MB disk file memory and clock features
remain an add on option. Would appreciate input as to the
usefulness of this option and where it may be obtained inexpensively.

Also, there is a CD option for the Mark II series pianos. Does
anyone have input to its usefulness? Or would a PC based hookup
supercede the CD option?

I have not been able to find specifications to these 2 options and
would appreciate any input.

Regarding the various DC3 models, I am curious to the relative
opinions of the current DC3A Mark III, the DC3 Mark IIXG and the DC3
Pro (I think that's a Mark IIXG unit). In particular, I have found
some aggressive pricing on the DC3 Pro and wonder if it should be
considered over the DC3A.

Many thanks.

Paul
