use the midi input and play it from a computer. you will then have unlimited files to play and not have to deal with floppies. there is a bunch of free stuff some of which is good. i sell a CD of over 5000 midi files from reproducing piano rolls for $230

I have a mid 90's disklavier. The front of the unit says DKC5R, and I see "MX80" on the back. It uses the 3.5in floppy discs. I don't play it much any more, but it is occasionally nice to have playing with the player feature- though I only have a handful of discs. I'd probably use it more if there were more options for discs, and it doesn't seem like they are making too many more for my model.

I'm thinking that I should either upgrade it, or sell it. Trouble is, that, I can't seem to find any reliable information on how to upgrade. I've seen that everyone is saying that the DKC-850, but I am fairly confident that my model is too old to upgrade because none of the numbers on mine are listed in the spec sheets for models that can be upgraded.

If I can't upgrade it, or if it is ridiculously expensive, I may sell it if there is a market for it. I'm not really pushing to sell it, but I'd think about it. How much are they going for that is reasonable for both buyers/sellers? I am in Northern California.
