I I tried openining a MIDI 1 file in a windows program called "Cakewalk Pro" and saving it as a MIDI 0, using the SaveAs menu. That seemed to work OK. Unfortunately, Cakewalk's a bit pricey and may be overkill for your application. You'll probably need to get a MIDI Sequencer program of some sort. There are several low cost ones, like PG Music's $29 "Power Tracks" (see www.pgmusic.com ) that can probably do this conversion, too. And it's handy to have sequencer software in case you want to edit MIDI files. I typically make quite a few changes--remapping instruments, scaling velocities--in files I download from MIDI sites. --- In disklavier@y..., "gfgerstner" <GFGERSTNER@a...> wrote: > I am sure most of you know the answer to the question I am about to > ask.
