Settings for PianoSoft Plus Audio CD

2015-01-27 by rightnightboy@...

Hello everyone I recently got the Schubert trout quintet PianoSoft Plus Audio cd for my MPX1.

http://www.yamahamusicsoft.com/fr/instrument/Disklavier/product/1001655/Trout+Quintet+-+Franz+Schubert/Trout+Quintet?currency=USD

1-I realized that the 2 audio channels (or tracks) are different: one for the mono audio recording of the string quintet (which plays on both left and right speakers nevertheless ) and the other one for what it seems data for the disklavier... Is it always the case ? meaning that with this type of PianoSoft Plus Audio cd the audio part can never be in stereo ?

2- the CD is being played on a DKC-850 which is hooked to my mpx1. When I play it, all is ok but I also sends the midi piano track to the sound module... which means that i have the mpx1 playing and another piano from the sound module. How to disable this last one since I dont want to hear it ?

3- Thirdly if I want to play myself the piano part along with the audio recording of the strings of the cd, how do I stop the disklavier part from playing ?

4- Lastly does anyone knows of other cd of that type (PianoSoft Plus Audio) or from other parties that are available (with real audio recording of real instruments and not synth modules) in the "concerto with orchestra" genre ? I could not find any that would surely play on the disklavier.

Thanks in advance for your hints
