We're a lucky family. Kendell visits our home
(and our disklavier) three times most weeks. Alas, Erica's lesson
today is the last we'll see of him until next year (1/2/02). He's almost
always kind enough to squeeze in five minutes of recording at the end of most
lessons. Today's contribution is an original blues composition he whipped
up a year or two ago. I asked the title, but apparently when you
write hundreds a year, you don't name them anymore. It's a beautiful
piece, whether you're a blues fan or not (I certainly am). I would add
this one small note of caution about Kendell's contribution of original
compositions: Private non-commercial use ONLY - All rights
reserved. ; He's donating his performance to us, not giving away his
intellectual property. Don't go putting this stuff on a commercial
website, or one that carries advertising. If you use it non-commercially,
include the notation Copyright 2001 Kendell L Healy All rights
reserved.
