Good morning, everyone. Carl, the DSR1 can do either of the following: (1) Send out MIDI data when you plays the keys yourself. (2) Send out MIDI data when playing a recording. I am assuming that you have set “Piano Type” to Disklavier. To do #2: —Press Function —Select MIDI Setup and press Enter. —Select MIDI Out and Press Enter. —Set MIDI Out to ESBL Out. Thus far, you have adjusted the MIDI Out setting so that “ensemble parts” are sent to the MIDI Out port. To complete the process and to send the piano part(s) to the MIDI Out port: —Press Stop to exit where you are on the screen. —Press Function. —Select MIDI Setup and press Enter. —Select PianoPart and press Enter. —Move to the second screen of this section and select PianoPart ESBL Out and set it to On. Now, when you play a MIDI file, the piano part(s) and the ensemble (i.e. accompaniment) parts will be sent to the MIDI Out port. Regards, PianoBench > On Apr 18, 2015, at 1:45 AM, carlspost2@... I have finally managed to connect my disklavier to my PC and have worked out how to record from it in real time. My question is... How do I send the files I have already recorded that are stored on the DSR1 to the Compute?r. Should I be able to play them on the DKV whilst recording them into the sequencer?? > Carl > > > > > > >
