Charles, Completely power down the piano by pushing the oblong power button on the front of the piano until the button starts blinking. About 30 seconds later it will quit blinking and it will be powered down. Unplug the piano from wall and let the piano sit unplugged for a couple of hours. Then plug it in and power it up. Power up will take about two minutes. Then check to see if the piano will play. Let me know. Bill Love God. Love People. Make a difference. Own DGC1M4 (2008) Mark IV model has problem with Acoustic playback. It worked before but now after inserting the CD it will playback only through speakers (quite mode) but no replay in acoustic mode. So my piano Tuner called Yamaha support and they said it might be a faulty power unit supply. There is more to this (long story) but for now my question is what does the 4 lights below the power unit mean? Light 1 is blinking green (good/bad?) Light 2 is on steady green Light 3 is off (assume bad) Light 4 is steady red (not sure bad?) Even the Yamaha tech support person was not very clear about explaining these lights. Sorry for long first posting but this is a worry to me because power supply new replacement cost $1,100 (ouch!). My Piano Tuner says it might be only a loose connection but he is not sure. Also, I live near San Francisco so if anyone can recommend a local Yamaha Disklavier experienced technical person to troubleshoot this problem would greatly appreciate the referral (sorry if broke any rules soliciting someone services). P.S., if allowed I could take a snapshot picture of these lights and send it. Thanks Charles
