This process of editing a MIDI file is like opening Pandora’s Box, or trying to “take a picture of the Big Dipper”! I think the simplest software might be Power Tracks for $49 found at http://www.pgmusic.com/powertracks.packages.htm <http://www.pgmusic.com/powertracks.packages.htm> If you have a Mac, Pro Logic for $199 is about as complicated as it gets, but you get a lot.
