Hi George,
If I understood that correctly is it on the Setup -> MIDI and then when I should be able to change the output-input options? If so I don't have a choice to change anything here - it shows MIDI.
Just didn't find any other places to change MIDI options...
Thank you,
Dmitry

Good evening, everyone.
Dmitry, you should use the round rocker switch on the PRC-100 to change values on the MIDI screen and elsewhere on the Disklavier.Regards,PianoBenchOn Aug 2, 2016, at 7:07 PM, Dmitry dmitryos@... The only thing is when I click on it to change it doesn't show me options to choose from. Nothing I can change on all that 3 screens related to MIDI. Will try to go through all the manual again to find out the reason. But at least now I know where to look at!Thank you,DmitryOn 3 August 2016 at 00:45, 'George F. The Mark IV (and E3) Disklavier has a choice of using the USB To Host port for MIDI or the MIDI In and MIDI Out ports—but it cannot use both simultaneously. Therefore, on your PRC-100, you must make certain that you have chosen the right port for both MIDI In and MIDI Out.Dmitry, I suspect that your PRC-100 is set to MIDI In=MIDI and MIDI Out=MIDI instead of MIDI In=USB and MIDI Out=USB.If that is not the case, be sure and check the MIDI channel assignments for the tracks in your MIDI file. On the Disklavier, there is a MIDI Receive channel that is set on the PRC-100 for the piano track(s). Be sure that that choice matches the channel assignment(s) in your MIDI file. MIDI data on all other channels will be sent to the Disklavier’s tone generator (and will only be heard if you have speakers connected and turned on).Regards,PianoBenchHi guys,Just wondering if you had a chance to setup your disklavier to play midi files from a computer. I cannot find out where my issue is but cannot hear anything when I try to play a file.I tried the same MIDI file I used to play from direct connected USB (which played this way without a problem), tried Windows (with drivers installed from Yamaha web site) and Linux - both show MIDI device connected (like DKV-MK4-01) but still no sound and no errors.Maybe some changes/settings should be done from the PRC?Thank you for any advice,Dmitry
