Hi all
I am looking for some ideas regarding my PRC 100 controller. I currently have two of these that came with my piano both have problems.
The first one will boot up and work until I insert the wireless card then it freezes. I bought a replacement card however it still does the same thing so I am guessing its not the card.
The second boots and operates normally however it does not recognise the wireless card at all.
I am thinking I should try reloading the software including the operating system on both as a first step. Does anyone know where the software is available and how to proceed with this?
The other thought is to purchase a Sharp PDA 5000 and set it up as a controller. Has anyone done this and if so how did you do it?
I have a virtual version of the controller on my computer and it runs fine however it doesn't have all the functions of the original. If it were possible to get a full version to work on the PC I would dump the portable controllers all together as my computer and iPad cope with all the day to days beautifully.
Cheers
Darren

Hi Darren,
The OS and the upgrading process is described here - https://www.dropbox.com/s/iasi3hg8yinimpz/PRC100%20Operating%20system%20and%20instructions.zip?dl=0
It worked perfectly for me for a newly bought Sharp Zaurus SL-5600 - I think this is the right model as the one you mentioned has older CPU.
Hope this will help to you!
All the best,
Dmitry
