as a mac user I have not been using dkv browser, so I can't help you there and I have not moved yet to "High" Sierra but as an info: I use to connect to my dkc-850 unit a small app :MuCommander, which permits me to access the "from PC folder" (not accessible directly anymore in the latest mac os) and directly download midi files from my mac.
