Good morning, everyone. Bob, I recommend that you call Yamaha Piano Service: (800) 854-1569. Before doing so, I recommend that you get the piano’s serial number off the cast iron plate. Yamaha can definitively track your model by that number. It seems odd to me that there is a printed model name and that it is MX100II. Mark II series pianos made for the U.S. market had a rotary dial on the face of the control unit. Does yours have a rotary dial? I am starting to think that your piano may have been made for a different market. Regards, PianoBench > On Aug 15, 2018, at 12:50 AM, bobpinsker@... And the piece of wood in which it is mounted goes from one edge of the piano to the other - in other words, doesn't look like the controller could be easily swapped out. > > > The specifics on the nameplate (underside of the main power switch) are: > > YAMAHA DISKLAVIER > MODEL MX100II > YAMAHA CORPORATION KM94 > > SER NO 12816 VR90710 > MADE IN JAPAN > > > Bob Pinsker, San Diego > >
