Live Internet Jamming

2002-04-12 by Jim Budd

Hi All,
My name is Jim Budd, a new member to this group.
I would like to invite any interested players who have a midi instrument connected to a computer, to join us on our Free Live Internet Jam sessions, in the style of Jazz.
To Begin jamming, or just listening in on the real-time jam sessions you will need to take the following 2 steps.
1.) Download and install to the free, Live Jam software from: http://www.livejam.com/
If you cant connect/login for the first time, you will need to download and install this additional update file that I have provided at this Url: www.jazzworx.com.au/WebJam/update.htm
2.) Join this email group to receive news of the scheduled Jam times, by sending a blank email to: webjam-subscribe@... i.e webjam-subscribe@...
The webjam email group will not only let you know when other players will be online, but will also be a forum for the discussion of this potential new genre of CyberJazz.
This group has only recently started and we already have members from all over the world including, Brazil, Sweden, UK, Spain, Canada, Australia, Usa, and South East Asia.
So come and be part of this exciting new CyberJazz movement and also contribute to it's development.
It is also worth noting that the 'LiveJam' software is currently, (12/4/02), the only 100% real time internet jamming software on the internet. That is to say, when i play a note you will hear it straight away, while at the same time receiving notes played by you! ..Cool hey!!
Thanks for your time,
Jim Budd.
