RE: [disklavier] formatting 2dd floppy disks under windows xp

2002-06-04 by Todd Muncy

My suggestion is to use Win ME to great a bootable DOS diskette and
include a copy of "Format" program on that disk. Other option is to use
the Disklavier to format. There are also third party format programs
available on the web. There was a thread discussing that on this board
a number of months ago.

Subject: [disklavier] formatting 2dd floppy disks under windows xp

I just upgraded from ME to XP (pro) and it appears that microsoft
removed the 2dd diskette format option from this version of windows.

Anybody able to do it or do I have to keep a version of Windows ME on
my system?

Thanks
