I really like the Advent self powered speakers AV570. You really only need one speaker because the audio is dual monoaural. You only get stereo if the MIDI tracks are panned properly. The MarkIII's with CD players come with two speakers, real stereo, because it also has audio capabilities (people singing). I just set my speaker on the floor under the music cabinet beside the piano. I have never been too thrilled to see anything other than music set on top of a piano - especially flowers, plants and candles! Not only can debris, water and wax get through the top hinge into the piano action, but it makes it very difficult for the technician to tune or service the piano. Things like picture frames, lamps and of course speakers can sometimes rattle.
