If I can figure out how to upload the file, I will be doing so with an emulation from a late 1930s piano roll "Selections from Porgy and Bess". This is one of the last rolls produced by the Aeolian American Corporation before closing shop due to the combined effects of the depression and the competition with the phonograph. I think it is one of the best piano roll performances ever recorded and am not alone in this opinion. On the Duo-Art piano it is virtually perfect, the culmination of years of editing experience on top of a fine performance. I do not have a Disklavier to try it on so I am especially interested in hearing what the group members think. I have listened to the emulation on my Roland synth and it is very good.
